Everyone says that windows10 is no good so I will not be getting that any time soon. I have been told by friends and relatives that it either messes everything up or makes things run very slowly. I have had enough problems already without adding to them. Thanks anyway.

I have a LaserJet Pro MFP M225 printer and an iMac.
I seem unable to set up for scanning to my computer.
I have downloaded HP Easy Scan but can't make it connect.
I don't understand what to put in "Network Path" box or what a network folder is?

Hey @mwfash,
Thanks for being a part of the HP community.
I see that you're unable to scan to Mac using your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225. I would like to help.
Before I advise you on how to proceed I am curious - what version of Mac OS X are you running? If you're not certain, the following guide will help you determine that information: http://ow.ly/Cn8zF
Please reply with this detail at your leisure and I'll be happy to assist.

I recommend you try the following:
- Uninstall your printer - click here for instructions.
- Perform a hard reset as noted here
- Ensure your printer's connected to your wireless network - if not, run the wireless setup wizard via your printer's front panel.
- Once you've finished the above-noted steps, restart your computer.
- Lastly, click here to reinstall your printer.
Let me know if that helps.

I am trying to set up my wife's IPad 5 as a designated computer to scan to. We can print and scan when initiated at the IPad but since the printer is not located near her IPad we are trying to figure out how to initiate the scan at the printer and direct it to her IPad. The printer is an OfficePro 8600 plus and the printer app is installed on her tablet. Athe printer panel states to set thsi up with HP Utility, but I cannot find this on her version of the app.
What can I do to get this running?
Thank
John

I have an HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225dw on the Windows 10 operating system in my office.
When I called HP Support they told me the scanning options to the computer were limited to the wifi network and USB drive options, which is frustrating because, after wasting three days of in-office time, I have found that not only can I do this, but there are multiple ways to do this.
I have temporarily set up settings to use the Scanner Actions option to manually scan from the device to my destination folders, and managed to get the 'Scan to Computer' button to appear in the Scan Menu on the devices touch screen.
However, I still haven't managed to get the device to recognize the connection to the computer. (When I select the 'Scan to Computer' button it says 'No Computer Found')
Any help would be appreciated.
