I recently changed my email server, so I reconfigurated all my mail services, and I used to send scanned files directly from the printer, but with the new configuration It never Works, the test always fails. This configuration worked on Outlook and thunderbird, and even in a different model printer. But on this one there's no way, is not connecting to the email.

I've tried changing the smtp port, removing firewalls, reboot the printer and still can't connect with the mail server.

Thank you for your support.

@rplana,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS) page of the Printer. To do that: Open a Web browser, and in the address line, type the IP address or hostname exactly as it displays on the product control panel. Press the Enter key on the computer keyboard. The EWS opens.

To find the IP Address of the Printer: From the Home screen on the product control panel, touch the Connection Information button, and then touch the Network Connected button or the Network Wi-Fi ON button to display the IP address or hostname.

Once you access the EWS page, click the Scan tab. On the left navigation pane, click the Scan to E-mail Setup link. Edit the Outgoing Email profile and update the email password.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Hello, thank you for your reply.

Maybe I didn't explain myself correctly, I already changed the scan to mail configuration with the new one. It changes because the old smtp address was smtp.******.com and the new one is directly mail.******.com with the 465 port and secure connection, this configuration worked in all mail services (like outlook or thunderbird) and also in another HP printer different than this one. But on this printer it just don't connect, when I put a diferent configuration it simply says that server was not found, but when the correct configuration is on it thinks like 10 seconds then gives me the TimeOut error.

Any ideas?
