THE OFFICEJET 6950 PRINTER CANNOT GO ONLINE ON THE INSTANT INK SERVER. I AM SURE THAT IT IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET AND WORKS REGULARLY, BUT NOT BEING NOT ONLINE I DO NOT UPDATE THE TERMS OF USE OF THE INSTANT INK SERVICE. HOW CAN I FORCE THE CONNECTION? THANKS

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

Try rebooting the devices - 

 

1) Turn off the Router, Printer, and the computer/ mobile devices. 
2) Wait for 60 seconds. 
3) Turn on the Router first and wait for all the lights to stabilize. 
4) Turn on the printer and allow it to configure itself. 
5) Turn on the computer/ mobile devices.

 

Update the printer's firmware. Refer to this document for steps - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

 

Once the firmware is up-to-date, try refreshing your Instant Ink account. Refer to this document for step by step instructions - HP Instant Ink - 'Connect Printer to Update Status' Message Displays
