Have 3 hp printers 8610, 4650, envy5052. They each take turns saying printer busy, even when nothing is in queue. Usually I power down, unplug, wait and replug. Before discussing another very annoying (my MAJOR PROBLEM which spurred me on to finally contact an expert). During my troubleshooting steps I realized that I recently downloaded HP SMART mainly to scan from 8610 all in one (because it’s in craft room and closer to me) to my WiFi network, on my Apple iPad 9th generation (version 17 point something, the latest upgrade. They are all three connected to same network. ISSUE #1 in the past two months one of these printers kicks me off line (all day long, about 10+ times each and every day) and takes over WiFi in settings and I get a notification that I’m not connected to the internet. Very frustrating because I need to stop whatever I’m working on, change this in settings and return to my work. IT JUST HAPPENED AGAIN RIGHT NOW @7:40 pm WHILE I WAS LOOKING FOR A COUPLE PHOTOS TO ATTACH TO THIS POST. I don’t understand what made this start happening but today I thought it might be something to do with my recent download of HP SMART. There’s nothing else I can think of and that’s the most recent “change to my system”. And I’ve always heard that when troubleshooting look at the last system change you made. Thanks for any recommended solutions.
