I should start by saying that I’m 73. I was once a wizard at all things computing, but it has now leapfrogged waaaay ahead of me and I will soon not have any hair left. I bought a Deskjet 4100eand while I was finally able to print using my Verizon MyFi gadget, it’s a PIA and I want to use the DIRECT-68-HP Deskjet 4100 series. I was able to get the printer to print out a WPSpin, but when I entered that as a password, it doesn’t work. Tried it ac2nd time with a new WPSpin - still no luck. Can someone who has more working brain cells left than I have puhleez help me. 😳

Hi there,

First, let's make sure that Wi-Fi Direct is enabled for your printer:

Once enabled, the printed information report lists both the Wi-Fi Direct network name and password.
