HP officejet 4630
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
When trying to print from laptop (Windows 10) from Windows photo viewer it displays a message saying the printer is either not connected or not available. However when we tried printing from mobile the printer works fine with the exception of printing landscape vs. portrait no matter what selection we choose. Please help!

The Windows Photo Viewer  document provides information on using Windows Photo Viewer as a method to provide simple photo printing.

If your computer has been migrated to Windows 10, the necessary hooks to use Windows Photo Viewer are still in place.  If your Windows 10 is a “clean install”, Windows Photo Viewer is no longer presented as an option.

The following document explains how to “add” Windows Photo Viewer to “clean install” Windows 10:

How to Make Windows Photo Viewer Your Default Image Viewer on Windows 10

Windows Photo Viewer is the default on the computer mentioned, I've checked and it has been and continues to be the default photo viewer. The computer however is saying that nothing can be printed from the computer, whether it be from the desktop, online, or in a word processor, and the reason stated is that the printer itself isn't installed. When I go to print something from the phone though, it prints but sideways (a picture set to portrait is stretched out across several pages and blown up, and when changing it to be landscape to see if that would be the issue, it prints the same way I mentioned above). We changed the ink cartridge right before having any of these issues, although I doubt that's the reason for the issues. I may be wrong, but if it is the change in ink that caused this, why did it happen, how can we fix it, and how do we avoid this problem in the future when we have to change the ink again? Thanks in advance.

First, try Restarting Everything, including the router.

Next, download and run this diagnostic tool HP Print and Scan Doctor – Help Resolve Printer Issues

If you have not yet done so, (re)install the Full Feature Software for your printer.
