Click here for network setup (official HP)
The DeskJet 2724 uses only the 2.4ghz band.
If you wish to use WiFi direct then all devices must operate in that band.
Click here for WiFi setup to router using smartphone. This is a youtube videol.
Page 21 of the users manual shows how to use the WPS or push botton network connection
In the event you need to reset the printer, click here for a video
Full feature software for windows is dated Feb 2022

Thank you for your reply. I tried all the steps and refered the link video which you have provided. Still no use and issue not solved.
1. Below is my router settings. For 2.4 and 5 G Hz, network name is same for both .
2. Below are the step by steps i followed and the final error.
Please help if there is any other solution.
Note- I have bought a USB Printer Cable, Does this model -HP Desk Jet 2724 supports printing with the printer cable ? If yes at least i will use the same. Please suggest for any video/manual to configure the same [Via Printer Cable].

I suspect the smartphone is trying to get the printer to connect at 5ghz.
Change the name (SS(D) of the 2.4ghz band but use the same password
when in the modem, run the application that finds the best band
Be sure to find the channel that has the least amount of noise
Question: Do you have a mesh system (multiple WiFi boosters)?
