I have Cox E-Mail. I do receive email on my Iphone, no problem. I have installed the HP E-Print App, everything works fine except I cannot add my E-Mail Account. Always comes up (Unable to Verify). I have my mail set up on two different computers, all using the same settings. I have spoken to Cox, tried setting up IMAP or POP account, always the same results, Unable to Verify. Is there a problem with the App?
I set up the following:
Email: [edited by Moderator]
Description: My Email
Password: (my password I have always used)
Hostname: pop.east.cox.net, (also tried pop.cox.net, IMAP.cox.net)
Port: 110 (also tried 993, 995)
SSL: Off (Also tried On)
I also entered the exact same settings I use on the Iphone to receive mail.
Any help will be appreciated, Thanks

I just read your post after having a similiar issue and trying to make sense of why the settings provided weren't working on either the IMAP or POP email servers.
Here are the settings that worked for me:
Email: Username only (Don't use the entire email address)
Description: Your choice
Password: Email password
Hostname: pop.central.cox.net (you might try west or east depending on your location in place of central)
Port: 110
SSL off
Hope this helps.
I was able to send a document with my iPhone 3GS (old but still works for me) from work to home.

Welcome to the HP Support forums. I understand that you are getting a verification error when trying to add you Cox.net email to the HP ePrint app. I asked the moderator to remove your personal email address for your privacy.
I’ve included the settings for adding your cox.net email to the HP ePrint app.
POP3 Settings
Email: your personal Cox.net email address
Description: can be whatever description you prefer, it can be something as simple as ‘Cox-Email’
Password: this is the password you use to log into your Hotmail account. It is important to exactly enter the password as you set it up including capital letters and special characters.
Host Name: pop.cox.net
Port: 995
SSL: On
IMAP Settings
Email: your personal Cox.net email address
Description: can be whatever description you prefer, it can be something as simple as ‘Cox-Email’
Password: this is the password you use to log into your Hotmail account. It is important to exactly enter the password as you set it up including capital letters and special characters.
Host Name: imap.cox.net

Thanks for trying to assist me. I have retried all the settings provided. FYI, late yesterday afternoon I made an appointment went to the local Apple Store. I spoke to two Tec's about this problem. They tried and still could not make it work. One of them identified himself as a software specialest.
Bottom line, they told me to set up any account other than Cox, such as G-Mail. They indicated they were well are of the problem, and have had the same issue with other customers. There is a so called issue between HP and Cox. They said Cox operated on an older system, therefore it is not compatable with the HP App.
He said if a way could be devised to receive my mail on Cox, have it automatically forwarded to Gmail, I would be all set.
I'm not that savy, best choice to just leave it alone and use all the other functions that work and exclude the Email part.
At least I can still receive my e-mails on my Iphone, just the HP Eprint e-mail app function won't work.
I thank you again for your response and in the future I will probably relocate to G-mail.

Thanks a million, it worked. I used the begining of my e-mail address without the @cox.net. Also the Pop.East.Cox.Net, with Port 110 as you suggested.
I guess these things are fairly new and the information line requesting Your E-Mail Address should be retitled to reflect , your (User Name only without the @(provider.net or com).

As of 11/14/2016, your solution to add a cox email account to HP ePrint fails.
The HP ePrint dialog to add an email account explictly requires the email address be entered in the format email@company.com. Entering just the username, as you suggest, gets flagged as Invalid Email Address.
Your solution, if it ever worked, is outdated.
