Unable to connect HP Envy 4500 All-in-one Printer to Android phone wirelessly

I use an HP Notebook and an HP Envy 4500 series Printer. I connect the Printer and Notebook via USB without any proble. But when I try to connect it to my Android phone with HP Smart installed I don't get past the message "searching for printers" on my phone screen. Any suggestions on solving this? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers. 

As an initial step, you may please uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart App.

If the issue still persists, restore the phone's network settings:

1. From the Settings menu, look under Backup and reset.
2. Under Reset tap Reset network settings.
3. Tap RESET SETTINGS.
4. If a PIN, Password, or Fingerprint has been enabled, enter it.
5. Tap RESET SETTINGS again.
6. A confirmation message will display when complete.
