Hi,
Disclaimer 🙂 I have no working knowledge of 'networks (wireless or otherwise') so I need clear instructions for the novice.
Despite attempting try all manner of HP downoaded utilities and online HP bot support tools; I am unable to connect my printer to the wireless network in my home. Aslo I have tried following the instruction on the printers help menu, of what little there is, and that does not yield any solution either. I have tried setting up HPePrint without any success since I expect I have not been able to connect the printer to the wireless network.
I would be grateful if someone woudl provide some clear step by step instructions to enable me to connect my MFP M476dn Laser Printer to my wireless network.
Video instruction would very be much appreciated as I have searched HP Support and have not found any 'Video' instruction specific to my particular printer. There are many which refer to Enterprise solutions etc that I have no idea what this is about but am certain it is of no use to me but expect it is aimed at the business / office envrionment IE not me.
I am rather puzzled by the fact that despite having probably spent several full days collectively over the years cannot find what I would have thought to be a simple instruction.
So many thanks in advance and hope that some experience guru out there can shed some light on my dilemma as I am sure I am not the first person to have experienced this issue.
Regards
David

Hi sabretooth04,
Thanks for the clarification and I can see my post was not entirely well worded 🙂
I did sort of suspect that it not support direct wireless printing.
So I have a WiFi Range Extender nearby with an Ethernet port in the bottom and hoped that if direct wifi printing were not an option could i use this.
Meaning if I connect my printer to the Wifi Range Extender via an Ethernet cable could it be setup this way...?
I did try once but could not seem to access the printer which in my novice expectations would have been visible on the wifi network - but no such luck.
Basically I tried to connect the printer to Range Extender as mentioned above and then tried to access the printer to attemp to setup HPePrint but clearly I don't really understand the correct method / sequence to achieve connectivity.
If you or anyone's got a step by step guide to help I'd be most grateful.
Thanks in advance.
David

Well the step by step info has always been on the HP web site here. This is your full support page.
Download and read your User Guide to install via Ethernet. Good luck.
