Hi @Carina8a ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble connecting your HP DeskJet 3722 All-In-One Printer to a new Wi-Fi network, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Check Wi-Fi Settings on the Printer:

  • Make sure that the printer is turned on and that it is in a ready state.
  • Press the Wireless button or navigate to the Wireless settings on the printer's control panel to ensure that it is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn it back on. This can help reset the printer's network connection.

Restart the Router:

  • Power cycle your Wi-Fi router by turning it off, waiting for about 30 seconds, and then turning it back on. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Reconfigure Wi-Fi Settings:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the Wireless or Network settings.
  • Select the option to set up a new wireless connection or to reconfigure the existing one.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.

Use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup):

  • If your router supports WPS, you can use this feature to simplify the connection process.
  • Press the WPS button on your router and then press the WPS button on your printer, usually located on the back or side.

Printer Software and Drivers:

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer software and drivers installed on your computer. Visit the official HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your printer model.

Check Signal Strength:

  • Make sure that the printer is within the range of your Wi-Fi network. If the signal strength is weak, consider moving the printer closer to the router.

Security Settings:

  • Check your Wi-Fi network's security settings. Ensure that the printer's security settings match those of your Wi-Fi network.

Network Configuration Page:

  • Print a network configuration or wireless test page from the printer. This page usually provides information about the printer's current network settings. Use this information to verify the connection.

Firewall/Antivirus Interference:

  • Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software on your computer that might be blocking the printer connection.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
