Hi everybody !

I'm encountering problems while configuring my HP printer...

I've accidentally generated a direct Wifi code and quit the configuration panel without remembering it.

I've tried to access the settings again, but it's impossible, for I have to connect by direct Wifi the printer and the PC.

So I'm searching how to reset the printer to factory settings, but I don't find it !

Thanks for advance for your answers !

Hi @Bob36180

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the Wi-Fi Direct password.

Pressing the ( HP wireless direct ) button the first time will turn on HP wireless direct and print the HP Wireless Direct Guide. The guide includes the HP wireless direct network name and password.

If the issue still persists, try restoring the network settings to defaults - On the printer control panel, press and hold the ( Wireless ) button and the ( Cancel ) button together, approximately five seconds, and then release the buttons.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
