HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer

My partner and I used to be able to print from our Android phones to HP Envy 4500 printer, but now HP wants us to install (AND PAY FOR)  their HP Print Service Plugins.

Why should we pay more for a service that was previously free and we have bought a HP Printer for its quality and support, not for a company that is upselling its products!

I have ended up buying the HP Print Service Plugin under pressure o produce the printing.

Is there a way for me to share that plug in with my partner without incurring additional costs?

Or is there a way to print without using the plugin (to avoid the payments)?

Hi @Howhardcanitbe, G´day mate

The app HP Print Service plugin for Android store is always free.

Check if you are downloading HP Print Service from the next page:

Should be like the next screenshot

Also click the option for "About this app"

  • ferRX_1-1732780656421.png

And check the Version 23.2.5.3169 and Offered by - HP Inc.

And let us know if something is different than that.
