HP OfficeJet 200 Mobile Printer CZ993A
iOS

Since the latest HP Smart App update around September 19, 2019, I have been unable to print a saved PDF document from the HP Smart App on my Apple 12.9 inch iPad through WiFi Direct to my HP OfficeJet 200 Mobile Printer.  The HP Smart App recognizes the printer connection but the blue “Print” button is not enabled.

I am using Apple’s latest iOS update 12.4.1 on my iPad.

While connected through WiFi Direct, I am able to see the printer’s Embedded Web Server using the IP address http://192.168.223.1

Is a printer update required for the latest HP Smart app update?

After performing “Settings” —> “General” —> “Shut Down” and rebooting my iPad the HP Smart App is finding my printer and printing as before.  I am not sure whether this is a problem specific to the HP Smart App or a more general problem with Apple iPadOS.

I have the same iPad with a hp Officejet pro 8715.

After the hp smart update the printer did not show up.

I clicked on settings, add printer, it found the printer, I clicked on it, and now it shows up.

I was able to print.
