Operating System: Chrome OS

I am unable to register my DeskJet 3758 printer with my Asus Chromebook. I've gone through the steps to add the printer but  I keep getting an error message saying "Could not complete registration. An error has occurred. Please check your printer and try again."

The printer shows up in my devices.

There is a strong wifi connection

I have even shut down all of my extensions in case something was blocking it.

My wife has the same computer and was able to connect with zero problems. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
