My printer worked great forever through the HP Smart App. Last week, I tried connecting my HP notebook to print from there using HP Smart.
it did not work. Spent hours doing all the troubleshooting. I restarted both, every time I tried to download the diagnostic software- the printer could be found but would say “can’t connect. Hit search and chose from the list of printers.” After doing this a few times, I reset the printer. And I’m pretty sure it broke my notebook because I then needed to completely wipe that. But now that it’s reset, the printer isn’t working from my phone. I can no longer scan from the app. I made sure I wasn’t on a VPN (while troubleshooting with notebook) I did all the troubleshooting - not sure what to do anymore!? Help please. And now the only way I can get a print job sent from my notebook is to use Wi-Fi Direct.
