I’m trying to print out a series of 1-187 pages from my I phone 14 and the printing gets sent fine , but it only prints the first two pages over and over . I tried using the hp app too but does the same thing. Can anybody shine some light on this issue.

Hi @Blacknwhite22,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

When your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-In-One Printer is repeatedly printing only the first two pages of a document from your iPhone 14, it could be due to several reasons such as print settings, printer firmware, or issues with the printing app. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

Step 1: Check Print Settings on iPhone

  1. Ensure Correct Pages are Selected:
    • When you send the print job from your iPhone, make sure the print settings specify to print all pages (1-187) and not just the first two.
    • Open the document on your iPhone.
    • Tap the "Share" icon (usually a square with an arrow pointing up).
    • Select "Print."
    • In the print options, ensure that the page range is set to "All" or manually enter "1-187."

Step 2: Use the HP Smart App

  1. HP Smart App Settings:
    • Open the HP Smart app on your iPhone.
    • Select the document you want to print.
    • Ensure that the page range is set correctly within the app before sending the print job.

Step 3: Update Printer Firmware

  1. Check for Firmware Updates:
    • Visit the HP Support website and search for your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 printer.
    • Download and install any available firmware updates.

Step 4: Reset the Printer

  1. Power Cycle the Printer:
    • Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
    • Wait for 60 seconds and then plug the power cord back in.
    • Turn on the printer and try printing again.

Step 5: Clear Print Queue

  1. Clear Print Queue:
    • Go to the printer's settings or control panel.
    • Clear any pending print jobs in the queue.
    • On your iPhone, ensure there are no stuck print jobs in the AirPrint queue by going to the multitasking view and closing the print job.

Step 6: Check for Updates on Your iPhone

  1. Update iOS and Apps:
    • Ensure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS.
    • Update the HP Smart app to the latest version from the App Store.

Kindly check the next set of steps in the next post.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hi @Blacknwhite22,

Please find the next set of steps below.

Step 7: Print Directly from Another Device

  1. Try Printing from Another Device:
    • If possible, try sending the print job from another device (such as a computer or another mobile device) to see if the issue persists.

Step 8: Check for Large Document Handling

  1. Print in Smaller Batches:
    • Sometimes, printing a very large document in one go can cause issues. Try splitting the print job into smaller batches.
    • For example, print pages 1-50, then 51-100, and so on.

Step 9: Reinstall Printer Drivers on a Computer

  1. Reinstall Drivers:
    • If you have a computer available, uninstall the current printer drivers.
    • Download and install the latest drivers from the HP Support website.

If the issue persists, let's try Semi-full rest and see if that helps.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
