Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Could you please share the model name of your HP device?
Meanwhile, you can try these steps:
Check Network Connection
- Network Access: Ensure both your mobile device and the printer are connected to the same wireless network.
- Network Strength: Verify the Wi-Fi signal strength for both your mobile device and printer. Strong signals are essential for stable wireless printing.
Update Printer Plugins and Apps
- Mobile Printing App: Ensure you have the correct mobile printing app or service plugin installed for your printer. HP printers might require apps such as HP Smart or the Samsung Print Service Plugin for mobile printing.
- App Update: Make sure the mobile printing app is up-to-date.
Enable Mobile Printing Services
- Print Service Plugin: For Android devices, ensure the Samsung Print Service Plugin is enabled by going to Settings > Printing and verify that the service is active.
- Bluetooth and Location (if using HP Roam): Ensure Bluetooth and Location services are enabled on your mobile device to discover nearby HP Roam-enabled printers.
Clear Print Spooler Data
Sometimes, clearing print spooler data can resolve printing issues.
- Android 5.0 or earlier: Go to Settings > Application Manager > All Apps > Print Spooler > Clear Data.
- Android 6.0 or later: Go to Settings > Applications > Application Manager > More > Show System Apps > Print Spooler > Storage > Clear Data.
We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!
Best regards,
