- Why does my printer's IP address keep failing to load?

I have had no END of trouble with this HP printer failing to connect to Wi-Fi. It's completely arbitrary. It works fine some days and then on other days, it will not connect for love or money. Today, for instance: Even after I power everything down and shut everything off, upon rebooting and repowering, the IP address still fails to load and the printer fails to connect. The IP address is 192.168.223.1. This address seems to go through days when it works fine and then other days when it craps out (i.e., fails to load).
Is there any way that I can get this printer to consistently print or should I buy another make? I never know anymore whether the printer is going to print easily (as it does half the time) or simply refuse to print (as it does the other half).

Greetings @Brian987,
Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are facing an issue with your printer not connecting to your router.
Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.
Do you have a dual band router?
Note: HP Printers do not work or connect to 5Ghz networks. If you are using a dual band router, please give different names to 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz networks and connect the printer to the 2.4Ghz network.
Recommend you to capture the IP address from the printer.
Follow the procedure mentioned from Step 3 to 11 from this HP Article.
If the issue persists, please contact our phone support for any upgrade or service options available for your printer.
Let me know how it goes.

This seems to be a cut-and-paste answer that does not take into account what I have taken a fair amount of time to explain. I already have "trapped" the IP address. Please see my original post. Also, that GHZ business can't be the whole problem -- otherwise the printing wouldn't work sometimes and fail other times.
