Oficejet 6500a e-All-in-One
macOS 10.14 Mojave

Hello,

When i am at page 224 of the User Guide there stands:

  1. On the printer control panel, touch right arrow
    , and then select Network.

  2. Touch Wireless, select Wireless Setup Wizard, and then touch OK.

First off: i don't see the 'Network' option on the home screen after pressing the arrow.

I do, however, see a 'Network' option in 'Setup', but this menu only contains 3 options, none of which is 'Wireless'.

And when I click on the '?' in the Network menu, i do see that 4 options are explained and documented, including 'Wireless'.

But it's not there.

What is going on here?

Thanks in advance.

HP Officejet 6500a doesn't have wi-fi that is why you don't have wi-fi in your printer's menu

HP Officejet 6500a Plus has wi-fi

The user manual covers the Officejet 6500 series ( includes several 6500 models)

And they don't make distinction in the User Manual between the 6500a and 6500 plus?

If i search for 'plus' in the pdf i see nothing about that.

It says 6500A series that covers a series of 7 different 6500A printers, and some of them don't have wi-fi.
