Hi @Mei5855,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY 5020 All-in-One Printer has suddenly stopped printing from your iPhone XR and iPad, but was working fine before, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try to get it working again:
1. Check Printer Status
- Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to the same WiFi network as your iPhone and iPad.
- Ensure there are no error messages or paper jams on the printer display.
2. Restart Printer and Devices
- Restart the printer by turning it off, waiting for about 30 seconds, and turning it back on.
- Restart your iPhone XR and iPad.
- Restart your WiFi router by unplugging it for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in.
3. Check AirPrint Connection Set up the HP printer with AirPrint in macOS
HP ENVY 5020 supports AirPrint, so make sure:
- AirPrint is enabled on the printer.
- Open a document on your iPhone or iPad, tap Share > Print, and see if the printer appears as an option.
4. Update Firmware and Software Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel.
- Check if there are any iOS updates available for your iPhone XR and iPad.
5. Reinstall Printer on iPhone/iPad
- Remove the printer from your iPhone XR and iPad by going to Settings > Wi-Fi > Choose Network > Forget this Network.
- Open the HP Smart app and re-add the printer.
6. Reset Network Settings
If the issue persists, try resetting network settings on your printer:
- On the printer control panel, go to Network Settings > Restore Network Defaults and reconnect the printer to WiFi.
7. Test Using Another Device
Try printing from another device, such as a laptop or desktop, to see if the issue is isolated to your iPhone/iPad.
