I used the HP Print and scan doctor and the results were that the wrong printer port is configured. So I followed instructions several times and it could not fix it. Next I downloaded and installed all the drivers and software for my printer. Hell I have tried so many things now that its hard to list them all but it ended with completely uninstalling my printer and reinstalling it but it still wont print. I have tried using ports lpt1, lpt2 and lpt 3 which is all the printer ports listed in the printer properties and guess what....IT STILL WONT PRINT!! I can print on it from my cell phone but not from the laptop. Yall are my last hope before I start throwing things against the wall. At this point I will try anything so Please and Thank You for any advice.

Welcome to HP Support Community
Since you are able to print from your Cell phone this is likely to be a driver issue
I suggest you uninstall the printer driver from root level and download the full feature software
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions
Keep me posted how it goes and have a great day 😊
