How to check AirPrint service is running?
Printer works fine otherwise,

A warm welcome to HP Community!
It's possible that the wireless router is blocking or not able to forward multicast packet (Bonjour). Multicast packet (Bonjour) allows Apple devices to locate the printer on a WiFi network. Please contact your internet service provider or router manufacturer and check if the router is able to forward multicast packet. If the router is able to forward Bonjour packets then try the following steps:
1.) Use the steps available here to update iOS.
2.) Use the steps available here to update the printer firmware.
Once you update iOS and printer firmware, restart printer and iOS devices and then try to print. If issue persists, try the steps mentioned under "What if a 'No AirPrint Printers Found' message displays on my iOS device?" under FAQ's from this document.
Let me know how it goes!

Checked router thoroughly
does not have multi packets blocking option
again this was working
verified printer and iOS up to latest
checked on android device,
was not able to connect to printer either
issue is not specific to iOS
think it is issue with EWS (web services)
Put IP address of printer into browser, get error , not available...
Was thinking of resetting back to factory
but welcome any additional advice you can give
thanks

How is the printer connected? (USB or Wireless)
Let's update the printer firmware and Mac software:
Restart the printer and the MAC
If the printer and the Mac are connected to the same network follow the below steps.
Assign Manual IP to the printer
1) Print a Network configuration page from the printer's control panel.
2) Look for IP address from the Network configuration page.
3) Open web browser any browser that you are using.
4) Type the IP address mentioned on Network configuration page into the browser's address bar or URL bar and press enter button.
5) Go to the Network tab.
6) Click on Networking from the left pane.
7) Then click on Network Address (IP).
😎 Click on Manual IP Address and go to suggest a Manual IP.
9) Scroll down the screen and select Manual DNS server.
10) Enter the Primary and secondary DNS server from the Network Configuration page into the Manual Preferred DNS server field.
11) Click on Apply.
Refer to the video link for step by step instructions - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCnYyq80V9g
Note: The video is for win 8 but steps are similar for other operating systems as well. You need to enter the IP address in the browser's URL or the address bar to access the printer page.
Then, follow the below steps to remove the printer and add the printer as AirPrint.
Step 1: Remove multiple printers from the printer list
Check for multiple devices in the Printers list, and then remove any extra entries other than one in idle status.
-
Search the Mac for Print, and then click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners in the list of results.
-
Find the printer names that match your printer from the list of devices.
Figure : Printers and Scanner window with multiple names of a printer in the list
-
If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button
at the bottom of the list. Leave one 'idle' printer in the list that matches your printer if available and use this printer as the Default printer.
-
Try printing again.
-
If the printer prints, you can stop troubleshooting.
-
If the printer remains offline or displays an error, continue to the next step.
-
Step 2: Delete the existing print queue and add the printer
Remove the printer queue from the list of printers, and then add it again. Doing so creates a new printing session.
-
Make sure your Mac is connected to the Internet.
-
In the Printers list, click your HP printer, and then click the Minus button
to delete it.
-
Click the Add button
.
-
Find and select the name of your printer from the Printer list, and then click Add to add your printer. Do not select an HP Fax driver.

-
Click Print Using or Use.
-
Select the name of your printer (if available) or AirPrint.
Figure : Menu showing AirPrint selected
Your new printer queue displays in the Printers list in an Idle status
.

-
Try printing again.

The issue is no longer iOS but all OSs
I reset my printer back to factory
connected to my network, signal is strong and I have IP address
with my windows 10 laptop, I get an error now.
Can’t connect to my printer
I tried to update firmware on printer but it says it has the latest firmware.
At this point I am at a loss
i was able to ping the printer from the router
it is not a network connection issue
if I put the printer’s ip in browser, get message not available
any other suggestions?
Router is way far away from printer, connecting by USB cable is not an option!!!!

would it help connecting a usb cable from a laptop to the printer ? will that reset anything ?
if yes, what type of cable ? there is a usb port in front of printer a series A connector ..
can I use a series A to series A usb cable ? or do I need to plug into the usb port in the back ?
I need to use this printer for wireless printing ..
how to get the web server on this printer restarted .. considering I am not able to connect to this printer using any device on the device side .. not a network issue .. it has to be a web server issue on the printer itself..
I really don't want to have to buy a whole new printer .. please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Approximately how far is the printer located from the WiFi router?
What's the make and model of your WiFi router?
Could you also check for any WiFi interference.
