Hi @oooiepop,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To print from your iPhone 13 to a printer, you typically need to ensure both devices are connected to the same network and that your printer supports AirPrint, Apple's wireless printing technology. Here’s a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Check Printer Compatibility and Setup

AirPrint Compatibility:

  • Verify that your printer supports AirPrint. Not all printers do, especially older models. You can check the printer’s manual or the manufacturer’s website for compatibility.

Connect Printer to Wi-Fi:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone. This is crucial for AirPrint to work seamlessly.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check for any firmware updates for your printer. Manufacturers often release updates that add AirPrint support or improve connectivity.

2. Check iPhone Settings

Wi-Fi Connection:

  • On your iPhone, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer.

Airplane Mode:

  • Ensure Airplane Mode is turned off on your iPhone. Airplane Mode disables Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which are necessary for AirPrint.

Bluetooth:

  • Although AirPrint primarily uses Wi-Fi, having Bluetooth enabled can sometimes aid in device discovery and connection stability.

3. Print from iPhone

Using AirPrint:

  • Open the app (e.g., Photos, Safari, Notes) from which you want to print.
  • Tap the share icon (usually a box with an arrow pointing up).
  • Scroll down and tap on Print.
  • Select your printer from the list of available printers. If your printer does not appear, ensure it is turned on, connected to Wi-Fi, and compatible with AirPrint.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
