@R146, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you’re unable to print email attachments from your Motorola G phone to your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-in-One Printer, here’s a step-by-step guide to resolve the issue:

Basic Checks

  • Ensure your printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Motorola phone.
  • Ensure your phone has an active internet connection.
  • Confirm the file type of the attachment is supported (PDF, DOC, JPG, etc.).

Use the HP Smart App

The best way to print from a mobile phone is through the HP Smart app:

  • Install HP Smart from the Google Play Store: HP Smart App
  • Open the app and add your printer if it’s not already connected.
  • Tap “Print Documents” or “Print Files” in the app.
  • Choose Browse > Email attachments or find the downloaded attachment in Downloads or Google Drive.

Save the Attachment Before Printing

Sometimes, printing directly from the email app doesn’t work well. Try this instead:

  • Open the email app (like Gmail or Outlook).
  • Tap the attachment to download it.
  • Open the HP Smart app or Files app and find the downloaded file.
  • Use the Share button or Open with > HP Smart to print.

Check Printer Services on Android

Ensure your phone has printing services installed and enabled:

  • Go to Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > Printing.
  • Tap Default Print Service or HP Print Service Plugin.
  • Ensure it's turned ON and your printer appears in the list.
  • If not installed, download HP Print Service Plugin from Play Store.

Restart Everything

  • Restart your Motorola phone.
  • Restart your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 printer.
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

What I found out was that the Xfinity app is corrupt, do I deleted it. When I just type in "connect.xfinity.com" & enter my ID & password, I am able to log in, scroll down to check email & tap on that, & my email is loaded. I CAN also print attachments from my emails, by using " share" & then scrolling to 'print".
