I am trying to pricnt from my phone using the wireless printer HP Officejet Pro 8610 - printer is found on phone and when I got to print it says it is trying to connect with printer - wireless is connected, but apparently isn't connecting to phone. Could print using the HP Smart, but even that barely worked - kept having to cancel and retry....never happened before - stumped

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Which phone are you using? Uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart App.

If the issue persists, let's restore the Printer's network settings:

To restore the printer to the original network settings 1. From the printer control panel, touch and slide your finger across the screen, touch Setup, and then touch Network Setup. 2. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then touch Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored. 3. Touch OK. 4. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

Let me know if this helps.
