@Chaya6, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
A "printer spool error" when printing from a smartphone to your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010, especially when the printer is connected to a Windows 11 system, can stem from a few issues. Here's how you can troubleshoot and potentially resolve it:
Restart Devices
- Restart your smartphone, printer, and Windows 11 PC.
- This clears temporary glitches in the print spooler or network.
Check Printer Connection
- Ensure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your smartphone.
- Use the HP Smart app on your phone to verify connectivity and printer status.
Clear Print Spooler on Windows 11
Sometimes the spooler service on your PC can interfere with mobile printing:
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Find Print Spooler, right-click it, and choose Stop.
- Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files inside.
- Go back to Services and Start the Print Spooler again.
Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers
- Go to HP support page for the OfficeJet Pro 9010 and download the latest full-feature driver for Windows 11.
- Uninstall the current driver from Control Panel > Programs and Features, then reinstall the new one.
Use HP Smart App for Mobile Printing
- Install or update the HP Smart app on your smartphone.
- Add your printer again and try printing through the app instead of directly from other apps.
Reset Network Settings on Printer
- On the printer, go to Settings > Network Settings > Restore Network Defaults.
- Reconnect it to Wi-Fi and re-add it to your phone and PC.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
