cant change paper size when printing from iphone

I can't change the paper size when printing from iphone.  It is always on legal so the entire document won't print on letter.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

HP Smart - Mobile - requires that the paper size / type be adjusted before the content is opened to be printed.

Reload the paper you are using into the printer

Use the Printer Control Panel - Look for the message  about the paper and "Modify" the settings.

OR

Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to check / adjust the paper size and type - Tray and Paper

Tray and Paper settings are also reachable from within HP Smart.

EWS – Browser

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management

Model Dependent: 

• No Size > Select “Custom”  Note:  Not all printers support size “Custom”
• Advanced section > General Tray, Default Paper, Default Tray, Tray Lock

Click Apply to save changes
