cant connect with network on phone "unable to join Network Direct-DF-HPOfficeJetPro 6970"

Can do most printing functions from PC, Laptop, and some from iphone 11, but printer is unable to join my network??  At  least that is what my phone keeps telling me.   Have used the passwords provided (12345678) by the HP Printer HP officejet 6975.. Gettting a little frustrated!!

I see that the printer is not connected to the wireless network. This is because you are trying to connect it to the wrong network. 

12345678 is the password for the printer's Wifi-Direct. This method is used if you do not have access to a wireless router.

If you have a personal wireless router,

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings

Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.

Use your router's network name and password.

• Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
• If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
