I can send an attachment from my pc via my own email address to my printer and it is always accepted and printed. However, if I send an attachment via the same email address on my phone it is never acknowledged and never prints. Both are set up as IMAP/SMTP on the same server, with, as far as I can tell, the same setting.
I can use another email address on my phone and it works, but not from the address I use the most.
Any ideas?
Many thanks
Colin

Looks like something to do with your email, most likely due to security setup. Is it a Gmail account ?
Regards.

I have a similar situation. my host is Comcast and I have the Comcast app on my phone. I do not have the printer icon on the phone. I. too can use another email and print. some apps like the one from/for Comcast just can't print from a phone with their app.

As I said before, it is up to your email client agent setup. It won't let printers print attachments or even it won't send attachments to printers at all for some sorts of security reasons.
Regards.
