HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer

Just got new printer, 6455e. Prints envelopes very slow on stamps.com. Printing envelopes from Windows 10 works as normal. Previous printer worked well with stamps.com. Stamps.com support says it's my printer. HP support guy says "it print slow for better quality." Not believing that. Help?
