Hi @altos619,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've forgotten the password for your HP Envy 5643 printer, you can try the following steps to reset it.

Reset the Network Settings:

  • On the printer's control panel, touch the Wireless icon.
  • Touch the Settings icon.
  • Scroll down and select "Restore Network Defaults" or a similar option.
  • Confirm the action to reset the network settings.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

  • After resetting the network settings, you'll need to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
  • On the printer's control panel, select the Wireless icon and then choose your network from the list.
  • Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.

Printer Software on Computer:

  • On your computer, go to "Control Panel" or "Settings" and then select "Devices and Printers."
  • Right-click on your HP Envy 5643 printer and choose "Remove Device" or "Delete."
  • Reinstall the printer by adding it again and follow the on-screen instructions.

Check for Default Passwords:

  • Sometimes, printers come with default usernames and passwords. Check your printer's manual or visit the HP support website to find any default login credentials.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
