Hi @altos619,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you've forgotten the password for your HP Envy 5643 printer, you can try the following steps to reset it.
Reset the Network Settings:
- On the printer's control panel, touch the Wireless icon.
- Touch the Settings icon.
- Scroll down and select "Restore Network Defaults" or a similar option.
- Confirm the action to reset the network settings.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- After resetting the network settings, you'll need to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- On the printer's control panel, select the Wireless icon and then choose your network from the list.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
Printer Software on Computer:
- On your computer, go to "Control Panel" or "Settings" and then select "Devices and Printers."
- Right-click on your HP Envy 5643 printer and choose "Remove Device" or "Delete."
- Reinstall the printer by adding it again and follow the on-screen instructions.
Check for Default Passwords:
- Sometimes, printers come with default usernames and passwords. Check your printer's manual or visit the HP support website to find any default login credentials.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
