Welcome to the HP Support Community!
- Is it a MAC or a PC that you would like to connect to this printer?
If the printer is already connected to your wireless network, Skip to step 2
Step 1: Restore default wireless settings on the printer
On the printer control panel, make sure the wireless light is blinking and the power button light is bright. If the light is not bright, press the power button to wake the printer from sleep mode.
If the wireless light is not blinking, press and hold the Wireless button
and the Cancel button
at the same time for 3 seconds.
The wireless light blinks. Repeat these steps if the wireless light does not blink.
Immediately continue to the next step to install the software. You have approximately 120 minutes to complete the software setup using the HP auto wireless connect feature.
Step 2: Install the printer on your computer with Apple AirPrint (Perform this step on all the MAC systems on which you need the printer to be installed)
- Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
- Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign
to delete the printer.
- If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button
at the bottom of the list.
- Click the plus sign
, click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.
- Click the Use or Print Using menu, select AirPrint in the pop-up menu. Then click Add.
- Try to print.
Let me know how this goes.
