Hi drinii
If your HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer's Bluetooth feature isn't visible on your phone, here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Ensure Printer Bluetooth is Enabled:
- Confirm that the Bluetooth feature on your HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer is indeed turned on. Refer to the printer’s user manual for instructions on how to enable Bluetooth.
Check Compatibility:
- Ensure that your mobile phone supports Bluetooth connectivity. Most modern smartphones do, but it’s worth verifying.
Pair Devices:
- Make sure the printer is in pairing mode. Turn on the printer, enable Bluetooth, and observe any notifications or indicators that show it’s ready to pair.
Phone Bluetooth Setting:
On your phone, go to the Bluetooth settings and ensure Bluetooth is turned on. Set the phone to search for new devices.
- iPhone: Go to Settings > Bluetooth and ensure it’s turned on.
- Android: Go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth: On and then scan for devices.
Look for HP Officejet 100:
- Your printer should appear in the list of available devices on your phone once it's in pairing mode. Look for it and select it.
Remove Obstacles:
- Make sure that there are no physical obstructions between your printer and your phone.
Update Firmware:
- Check if there are any firmware updates for the printer. Updating firmware can resolve connectivity issues. You can find updates on the HP Support website.
Reset Bluetooth:
- Turn off Bluetooth on both the printer and the phone. Wait for a few seconds, then turn Bluetooth back on and try pairing again.
Use HP Smart App:
- Download the HP Smart app from the App Store or Google Play Store. This app can help you connect and manage the printer’s functionalities from your mobile device.
Check User Guide:
- Refer to the HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer user guide for more detailed instructions on Bluetooth setup and troubleshooting.
I hope the above is helpful
