Just switched to Verizon Fios. Also have a new Surface Pro 4. I am attempting to set up my printer to print wirelessly. I downloaded the drivers and can print using the usb cable. However, when I attempt to use HP app or the HP assistant in order to connect it to my wifi network, I keep getting "no device found" messages.Even if I try to have HP search for my device...it says similar message.
In device settings it says driver unavailable. I keep installing the drivers and I can get that message to go away but even when it does, the HP app can't find my printer. I tried installing the latest firmware update but it also says no HP1102 found on your system.

Hi,
HP App do not support your printer and do not provide wifi configuration for the P1102w.
Please follow the steps below to resolve such an error:
**Be aware that if you have other printers installed on your PC, those will need to be reinstalled too once completing these steps.
1. Uninstall the HP Software from your PC.
2. Backup your registry prior making any registry changes:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_6991576-6991627-16
3. Update your registry using the Reg file below (that will change some printer related policies for your PC):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/avbv56zdgwv7600/kernel.reg?dl=1
4. Right click the Start menu and select Run.
Type Services.msc and press OK.
Locate and stop the Print Spooler service
5. Browse to c:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers.
Rename W32X86 to W32x86.old
Rename x64 to x64.old
Note: if any of these folders fail to rename reboot your PC and then Continue following the steps starting from Step 4...
6. Restart your computer.
7. Reinstall the HP Software and check for any difference
Note: if installing teh latest software do not open any dialog right click the start button and select Run, then paste the following and press OK:
C:\LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution\HpSetup.exe
Please let me know the results,
