I am trying to register my printer but the name we gave it originally has an ubnderscore in it, e.g. abc_envy@hpeprint.com and when trying to register I cannot use that character and so my "code" is not beign recognised.

As it is not already registered I also can't now change the email address / code.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

The following might help you resolve the issue...

Open HP Connected Website Support - Troubleshooting, How-to, Video Tutorials

HP Connected

For example, consider / try

Section How to > Printing with HP ePrint

Sub-Section How do I change my printer’s email address?

It may be necessary to "start over" as described in that section, that is, stop Web Services > wait a minute > Start Web Services, get a new claim code > log into your HP Connected Account > add your printer using the claim code > then change the email address to something you can remember / use.

It is possible, though I did not find it in a quick check, that "underscore" is not allowed in the custom ePrint address.  IF that is the case, simply use (or change) the address to a name without using the Underscore character.
