On both my Laser Jet Pro MFP M281fdw and Officejet Pro 6830 when printing from an iOS device the print is too large. I have tried using the HP Smart app. But I cannot print emails direct from the app. Sorry if this is a duplicate. I just could not find an answer out therer that worked,
Thanks

Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips!
I understand that you are trying to print from your iOS device and is having issues with the font size. I'd like help
Let's try installing the HP Smart app (Previously HP AiO Remote app) to print from your iOS device. Go to Apple store and install the HP Smart app on your phone.
I found a wonderful document which will give you instructions on how to use this app. Please go through the steps here: http://hp.care/2sl1E5V
Also I would suggest here is to update the iOS device to the latest 11.3.1.
Next thing regarding printing emails directly from HP Smart App, unfortunately this option is not available. However, you can send eprint job to the printer by using the printer's email address.
Open the document/photo which you are trying to print, now select share and then from the drop down select email option and here type in the printer's email address.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Eagerly waiting for your response!
I hope you have a good day ahead,
And Feel free to ask your queries as this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help.

Hello.
I understand when printing to multiple printers from an iOS device the font is too large.
Please go to Settings>General>About and make sure you are running iOS 11.3.1. If not go to Settings>General>Software Update to update to the latest version of iOS.
If you are still having an issue with font size then follow this Apple support document to adjust the font size. The font size is controlled by iOS and not the printer.

Hello,
Did you verify your devices are running the latest version of iOS? Did you attempt to adjust the font settings in iOS ?
The only other suggestion is to verify the firmware is current on the printer. The font size is dictated by iOS not the printer, If you attempt these steps and issue persists I suggest contacting Apple support.

Please follow this document to verify firmware is current on the printer.

When printing using AirPrint, the font size for printing is in direct relation to the font size for viewing.
The only way you can currnetly adjust the font size for printing is to change the font size for viewing on the device.
If you go to Settings-->General--> Accessibility-->Larger Text
There is a slider at the bottom that directly controls the size of the text on the screen. In turn this will affect the size of the font when printing.
If Larger Accessibility Sizes is enabled this will have the most significant affect of printed font size.
