iphone upgraded to ios17 and HP Smart printing no longer finds wifi printer

Today after upgrading mu iphone to ios17, HP Smart app on iphone no longer allow me to select the print button.  I can only add the printer by entering the IP address of the printer.

I'd like to help!

Looks like this printer is not compatible with IOS 17. Since I do not find any drivers. 

Try Mac's built-in driver and see if that helps.

Also, check with other devices if the printer is connected and HP smart works.

The printer is no longer supported with IOS17, but it is still supported on previous version of IOS since it is supported on my wife's iPhone, with a prior version of IOS. You need to check to find out why.

yes, i being looking for the solution as well, same situation over here.

OK - if printer and iphone is connected to the same network

NOK - if printer connected to different network with iphone IOS17.1 (print anywhere feature)- i still can see the printer status is online but not able to press the print button since it is in the disabled mode(grey color). and im not able to see further printer information as well in Smart HP app...

i can't connect my printer after the update. laptop is still connected but HP smart doesn't work anymore, the printer is useless!!!!! i can't scan anymore
