I mistakenly hit the power button twice on my 250 mobile all-in-one printer and the shutting down light will not shutdown the printer. How do I override it and get back to printing?

Hi @ted108,
Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips, Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
I understand your HP 250 mobile printer is stuck on shut down, don't worry as I have a few steps which should help to resolve this issue,
Please make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.
Reset the printer and test the wall outlet
Unplug the printer to reset it, plug another appliance into the wall outlet to test the power, and then reconnect the printer.
-
Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
-
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
-
While the printer is unplugged, plug another appliance into the wall outlet, and then turn it on to make sure the outlet works.
-
If the wall outlet does not work, plug the printer into an outlet that does work. Do not use a power strip or surge protector.
-
If the wall outlet works, continue with these steps.
-
-
After the printer has been disconnected for at least 60 seconds, reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
-
Plug the power cord directly into the wall outlet. Do not use a power strip or surge protector.
-
Turn on the printer.
-
If the printer turns on, you can stop troubleshooting and reinstall the battery if you want to use it.
-
If the printer does not turn on, continue to the next step.
-
If the issue persists, please follow the steps suggested in the support document for - Click here
I hope this helps. Let me know how it goes for further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.
