Check HP Instant Ink or Dynamic Security
- If you’re using HP Instant Ink, ensure your subscription is active. Expired or blocked ink cartridges may prevent printing.
- HP printers with Dynamic Security may restrict non-HP cartridges. Try using genuine HP ink to see if the issue resolves.
Verify Printer & PC Connection
- Restart your printer, router, and PC to refresh connections.
- Ensure the printer is set as default in Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Update Printer Firmware & Drivers
- Visit the HP Support Page and check for any firmware or driver updates.
- Install updates and restart the printer.
Try a Test Print from Different Sources
- Print a document from a different application (e.g., Notepad, Word, or a web page).
- If it only prints HP documents, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver.
Reset the Printer
- Unplug the printer while it is ON.
- Wait 60 seconds before plugging it back in.
- Turn it ON and check if the issue persists.
