@DHL2, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Check Printer Status

Ensure that your printer is turned on and connected to the network. Double-check the network connection to ensure that the printer is properly connected to the Wi-Fi network.

2. Restart Printer and Devices

Turn off your printer and Android devices. Wait for a few minutes, then turn them back on. This can often resolve temporary connection issues.

3. Clear Cache and Data of Printer App on Android

On your Android device, clear the cache and data for the HP Printer app. Here's how you can do this:

  • Go to Settings on your Android device.
  • Select Apps or Application Manager.
  • Find the HP Printer app and select it.
  • Tap Storage.
  • Tap Clear Cache and Clear Data.

4. Reinstall Printer App

If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Printer app on your Android device. This can help to reset any settings that may be causing the problem.

5. Check for Updates

Ensure that both your printer firmware and the Android app are up-to-date. Updating these can often resolve compatibility issues.

6. Verify Printing Settings

Make sure that the print job settings on your Android device are correctly configured and that the printer is not set to "blocked" in the app.

7. Network Configuration

Verify that the printer and Android devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes network configuration changes can affect connectivity.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
