Hi @jennsables

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It seems that you are experiencing issues with printing documents from your email using the HP OfficeJet 6962 All-in-One Printer.

Here's a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Printer Connectivity

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the same network as your computer via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
  • Verify the network connection is active and stable.

Restart Printer and Computer

  • Turn off both your printer and computer, then turn them back on to clear any temporary issues.

Update Printer Software

  • Ensure you have the latest printer drivers and software installed. Visit the HP Support site to download the latest drivers for the HP OfficeJet 6962.

Verify Email Printing Setup

  • If you are using an HP ePrint-enabled setup, ensure the printer's ePrint settings are correctly configured.

Check Windows 10 System Requirements

  • Make sure your Windows 10 computer meets the minimum system requirements for the printer:
    • Processor: 1 GHz
    • RAM: 1 GB
    • Free Disk Space: 2 GB

Test with Another Document

  • Try printing a different document to determine if the issue is specific to one file or a broader problem.

Network Configuration

  • Check if any firewall or network settings might restrict printing. Adjust or temporarily disable firewall settings as required.

Verify Email Attachment and Format

  • Ensure the attachment is a supported file format and not too large for the email service and printer to handle.

Print from Another Application

  • Attempt a print job from another application, such as Microsoft Word or a PDF reader, to determine if the issue is email-specific.
