The printer will not print wirelessly anymore. I've tried restarting everything and have deleted and reinstalled all the programs. Now when I try to setup the wireless printer using a usb cable this message appears.
The wireless network setting were successfully downloaded to your device. However, your Mac was unable to locate the device on the network.
I have checked and made sure that they are both on the same network.

Hi @jcg57,
Let me know the first 3 sets of the printer's IP address.
Check the IPv4 address on the computer.
From the Apple Menu, select System Preferences, Network, select your currently active network in the left-pane.
Your IP address will show in the middle corner of the window.
The first 3 sets of numbers have to match the printer's first 3 sets of numbers to be on the same network.
Did they match?
Try and ping the printer.
On the Apple menu bar, click Go, then click Applications, then Network Utilities.
(you can go to the finder and type in Network Utilities)
Click on PING from the bar at the top of the window.
Enter the IPV4 Address of the printer and click Ping.
Did you get any replies back?
If you could Access the printer's Embedded Web Server and the first 3 sets of numbers of the IP on the computer matched the printer's first 3 sets of numbers, then try please try the following:
Repair the Disk Permissions on the Mac:
Close all applications.
On the Apple menu bar, click Go, click Applications and then click Utilities.
Double-click Disk Utility.
Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left.
Click Verify and then Repair Disk Permissions.
Restart the computer.
Reset the Printing System:
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol.
Click the Apple icon and then click System Preferences.
Click Printers & Scanners.
Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left white side panel, then click Reset printing system.
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type the correct Name and Password.
Click OK to reset the printing system.
Then click the + sign to add the driver, highlight the printer. (you might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name) Then click on the Add button.
If the Multicasting is turned off on the router, you won't be able to add the printer as a Bonjour device.
Test the printer.
Thanks!

Hi @jcg57,
Thanks for reaching out to the forums! I understand that the Mac isn't recognizing the printer. I would be happy to help you.
I have provided a document with some steps that should help with
this issue: Printer Not Found During Network Driver Setup (OS X).
If you are still having issues, try and access the Embedded Web Server for the printer.
Type the IPv4 address into your web browser's address bar. (Safari)
Did it load the webpage?
If the issue is resolved and you appreciate my help, please click the "Accept as Solution" button and the "Thumbs Up". Let me know how you make out. Cheers!

I am still having issues so I typed the IPv4 address into safari and the page came up. It still just won't print wirelessly from the computer unless I click print wireless test report on that webpage, but if i try to print an e-mail or someting, the printer will not print.
