Hi, On my Mac I run OS Sequoia, I have bought a HP Color Laser Jet PRO 3302fdw and I cannot find how to run Print anywhere. I have run HP Smart Admin to install the printer, which is visible in HP Smart. Where is the problem. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @JOPA352,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I understand how frustrating it can be when everything seems set up, but you're still unable to access a feature like Print Anywhere. Let's see if we can get this working for you.
- When you try to use Print Anywhere, are you receiving any specific error message, or does the option simply not appear in the menu?
- Have you checked if your HP Color LaserJet Pro 3302fdw is fully connected to your network and is appearing as available on all devices (Mac and printer)?
- Are you using the same HP Smart account on both the Mac and the printer?
Let's try these steps.
Verify Printer Connection to the Network
- Make sure the printer is properly connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac. You can check this by printing a network configuration page from the printer’s control panel.
Check HP Smart Settings for Print Anywhere
- Open HP Smart and ensure that HP Print Anywhere is enabled in the app settings. Sometimes, this feature needs to be manually activated. Make sure your HP account is linked properly.
Sign In to the Correct HP Account
- Ensure that you are logged in to HP Smart with the same HP account used for setting up the printer. If you’re not signed in, or using a different account, Print Anywhere may not be available.
Enable Web Services on the Printer
- Go to your printer’s control panel and check if Web Services (used for Print Anywhere) are enabled. This is typically found in the printer’s network settings. If it’s not enabled, activate it and try again.
Check for Firmware Updates
- Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can update the firmware either through HP Smart or directly via the printer’s menu. New firmware may include important fixes for Print Anywhere and other services.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, this could be a compatibility issue.

Hi @JOPA352,
It seems you're trying to enable HP Print Anywhere for your HP Color LaserJet Pro 3302fdw, but the option is not appearing in HP Smart.
Let me guide you through some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
Enable Print Anywhere:
Check Web Services:
- On your printer’s control panel, locate Settings or Network Settings.
- Look for Web Services Setup or HP ePrint Setup under Network or Web Services.
- If you cannot find it directly:
- Navigate to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Web Services (path may vary slightly).
- Ensure Web Services is Enabled.
- If it’s disabled, enable it and follow the on-screen instructions to set it up.
Confirm HP Smart Account Sync:
- Ensure that you are signed in to the same HP Smart account on both the printer and the Mac.
- Open HP Smart on your Mac and verify your account under the app's settings.
Firmware Check:
- Since the firmware is updated, confirm that the update was successfully applied by:
- Printing a Configuration Page or checking the firmware version in Settings > Reports > Configuration Report.
Update or Reinstall HP Smart App:
- Make sure you’re using the latest version of HP Smart.
- If you still don’t see the option for Print Anywhere:
- Uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart app from the Mac App Store.
Enable Print Anywhere in HP Smart:
- Open the HP Smart app.
- Go to Advanced Settings (or similar, depending on your region).
- Look for HP Print Anywhere under your printer’s options.
- If the feature is unavailable, it could be a regional limitation or an account sync issue.
Reset and Reconnect:
- If all else fails, reset the printer’s network settings:
- Go to Settings > Network > Restore Network Defaults.
- Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi and re-sign into your HP Smart account.
Notes:
- Some features, like HP Print Anywhere, may only be available if HP Instant Ink or certain services are enabled.
- Regional limitations could also impact feature availability.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Sorry for the delay, I was away for several days.
I cannot find Web Services Setup or HPePrint Setup nor Printer Maintenance. I am very disappointed of the installation guidance of the printer. And I can assure it is not the first printer I install!! Canon; Epson or even other HP printers did never cause any problem to me! I certainly will never more buy a HP Printer and I will certainly not recommend HP to any of my relations!
