Hi @cmactag332,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you're experiencing issues with the HP Print Anywhere feature on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e printer. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
- Check Internet Connection: Ensure that both your printer and the device you are sending the print job from are connected to the internet. The Print Anywhere feature relies on a stable internet connection.
- Printer Firmware Update: Make sure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve compatibility issues and improve the overall performance of the printer. You can check for firmware updates on the HP support website.
- Print Anywhere Setup: Double-check that the Print Anywhere feature is set up correctly on your printer. Follow these steps:
- On the printer control panel, touch the HP Print Anywhere icon.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to enable HP Print Anywhere.
- HP Smart App: Use the HP Smart app on your mobile device or computer to manage and monitor your printer. Ensure that the app is updated to the latest version. You can find the app in the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Firewall and Security Software: Sometimes, security software or firewalls on your network may block the communication between the device and the printer. Temporarily disable any security software on your device and check if the issue persists.
- Network Settings: Verify that your printer is connected to the same network as the device you are printing from. Inconsistent network settings can prevent successful communication.
- HP Account: Ensure that you are signed in with the correct HP account both on your printer and in the HP Smart app. The account should have the necessary permissions to access and control the printer.
- Restart Devices: Try restarting both your printer and the device you are printing from. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
