in using the Hp smart printing app can you print when you are NOT on the same network?

for example,  If someone is away from home and several miles away can they still print on say an Hp 7602?

Yes, you can print from anywhere using the HP Smart app with the HP Smart Tank 7602 All-in-One printer, even if you're not on the same network. 

This feature is called HP Smart Advance or HP ePrint (depending on the setup). It allows you to print remotely, as long as the printer is connected to the internet and registered with an HP account.

Here’s how you can do it:
 

HP Smart App and Cloud Printing: When you are away from home, the HP Smart app can send your print jobs to the printer over the cloud. To use this feature, ensure that the printer is connected to your HP account, and that both the app and printer are set up for cloud printing.

Email Printing (HP ePrint): Another option is HP ePrint, where you can send a document to your printer’s unique email address. The printer will print the document, no matter where you are, as long as it's connected to the internet.
