print via email parameters

Dear Community,

i would like to know what is the way to default the print quality and color mode settings for print jobs which are being submitted to the printer via the print via email service?

i did not find anything related on the EWS of the printer nor on HP Connected.

Hi,

The HP ePrint default print settings cannot be changed.

See the following document about the using HP ePrint, see the 'Can I change the default print settings for an HP ePrint print job?' section:

However if you use the HP ePrint app to print from a mobile device or the HP ePrint software to print a such from a computer you may add the printer email address to the app and then control some settings through it.

I have activated the functionality and the printer what is already linked with my HP connect profile became available in eprint app on my mobile device.

As I see in this case I could alternatively use the Google cloud print functionality where I can determine which pages I want to print and to what paper size as well as if the print should be black or color.

As I spotted eprint at the same time would allow me to change between color/black/greyscale, quality of the print and paper type and number of printouts, however not allowing to select a page range nor provides the option for duplex printing.
Did I miss something?

Not sure if you are associated with HP or can advise where to send suggested functionality development ideas if my observations are correct.
