HP OfficeJet Pro 7740

I am on a MacBook Pro with Big Sur 11.0 OS. My printer was working fine until a week ago. It just stopped acknowledging my Internet connections (it sit next to my printer which has a great Internet connection). Nothing changed, no upgrrades to my OS or other software. It just stopped receiving. However, it will show me 23 nearby networks, just not mine. How can a printer see 23 other networks (one 200 yards away and through 2 concrete walls) but fail to see mine?

@PAUL_WS, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that you have issues connecting the printer to the network, let us try to isolate and resolve the issue-

  • Is your Mac connected to your home network?
  • Who is your Internet Service Provider?
  • What is the make and model of your router?

Meanwhile, use the guided troubleshooter Troubleshooting | Wireless Printing Center for instruction to isolate and resolve the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
