hi,

 

please forgive me if i am in wrong board or group. 

 

Our network is running HP Procurve switches and also running on aruba 3810 as my core switch. i am trying to figure out if is there is a way that i can assign an ip address to an interface port since 3810 is a layer 3 switch? my current configuration is running on vlan and i can assign ip address on vlan for management purpose. 

 

in cisco, no switchport command can assign ip address to interface. I would like to ask for your help to find the command same as this for hp network cli.
