My printer got stuck on a printing job, and I had to push the power button, and now it is stuck in the "shutting down" mode. It is a remote printer, so I can't unplug it. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

@sparkync, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
A hard reset has to be performed on the printer as the printer is stuck/frozen.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
We may not be able to resolve this issue remotely. Physical access to the printer is required.
Also, check for any paper jams inside the printer and is the print carriage is moving freely.
